Deeply reflective, "14 Cats" evokes poignant memories of loved ones and home in Jamaica. The poems awaken emotions of sadness, grief and regret as the poet contemplates the theme of loss ; however, these are balanced by feelings of joy, gratitude, and nostalgia.

The anthology has made me laugh, cry, groan and reflect. I love these poems. They are very personal because they voice sentiments that are dear to my heart.
    Thank you Dr. Cougar!
