Dr. Marita Garcia-Sanchez finished her Primary and Elementary years at Dubinan Elementary School, and Secondary at the Northeastern College High School Department in 1969. Her Bachelor of Science in Buisness Adminstration major in Marketing was taken at the University of the East Manila Philippines in 1973. While working as a Guidance Staff/Counselor/Statistician at the Northeastern College from 1980 to 2006 she also taught Marketing, Guidance and Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics and Economics. She also finished the Bachelors Degree in Education and passed the Teachers Licensure Examination then took her Master of Arts in Education major in Guidance and Counseling at Saint Marys University, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya in 1994. She enjoyed a College Faculty Development Fund Program of the Commission on Higher Education funded by the Fund for Assistance to Private Education, Makati, Philippines. She was also fincancially assisted by the Northeastern College, Santiago City Philippines when she took up her Doctor of Education major in Educational Management in 2001. She is a member of various associations and organizations such as: Association of Marketing Educators, Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business, International Conference of Management Educators and Practitioners, Philippine Psychological Corporation Accredited Member, Philippine Association of Counseling Educators and Research, Philippine Regulation Commission Licensed, UE Almni Association, and other more regional and local government and non-government organizations.
