Farmer Pitts Talking Rooster

Rocky, the Bantam rooster, suddenly speaks in perfect English as he inquires about the missing hen Emily. Farmer Pitt, now aware of his talking rooster, can only think about making trillions. Rocky, however, attempts to escape and find a safe haven, but his attempt fails.
Eventually Farmer Pitt puts Rocky in a Carney sideshow traveling the USA and Europe. When he returns to the farm he is met by the IRS. Rocky finds his feathered friends and, after making his declaration, the feathered friends live happily ever after.About the Author
The author, Calvin Ellestad, began his education attending the American School of Banking, Minneapolis, Minnesota while working for the Marquette National Bank. Later, Calvin attended the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis campus. He transferred to Winona State College with academics in Sociology and communications and received his Bachelors of Science degree in 1964. Calvins teaching experience began in Waupaca, Wisconsin. He also taught in North Dakota and Michigan. In 1964, Calvin traveled to England to see the historical sights. After receiving his life teaching certificates, he retired.(2012, hardcover, 34 pages)
