Cynthia Harry was born in Trinidad, West Indies. Her parents were born in Grenada, and they took her there when she was five. She returned to Trinidad and stayed with her uncle for about two years, but she longed to be with her family and was returned home. She was raised in the Anglican church and school, but she rebelled against religion as a teenager when she began to see it as a form of control. She then moved to London and experienced numerous difficulties, which led her to turn back to God. She has six children and a diploma in policy studies and she took an accounting course and worked as a nurse.(2009, paperback, 40 pages)
