About the Author

For more than thirty years, Joe Wood has been telling stories about his days in the circus. Born in New Jersey, he grew up on the East coast and moved to California in the early 70s. He graduated from Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Clown College in 1976 and toured the USA, playing every major arena in the country until 1979. He has also worked as an actor, director, producer, promoter, and writer.
