Granny's Old Sayings
by Joy Cope
Even as a young girl growing up, Joy Cope had rather have a pencil and piece of paper than a toy.
Over the years, she has written two short stories and several poems. This is her first book.
She has taken a course in creative writing and public relations at Murray State University.
Joy was very involved in the renovation of Whitehaven, loving old things as she does. She took the first group of people through the day of the grand opening, and worked as a tour guide in the administration of Governor Martha Lane Collins.
Joy has been a member of Rosebower Baptist Church since she was fourteen years old. She taught Sunday School from beginners to senior citizens and also Intermediate GA's (Girls Auxiliary).
She is the mother of two sons, Paul Cope and Chris Cope. She also has two grandchildren, Shannon Cope and Jacob Cope, and three great-grandchildren.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.
