I have always liked snakes. Most are beautiful. I decided they should show they have a nice nature, and they can even be comical. They killed rats in Ireland and stopped the plague. In the cities that have sewers, they keep the rats in tow.

About the Author

I was born in Brooklyn on July 19, 1935 and was a member of St. Leonards parish, which is now gone. I graduated from Bushwick High School in Brooklyn. I lived in Brooklyn for nineteen years. I met my husband, Bob, and we were married for fifty years. I moved to Commack, New York, with him, and we raised four sons: Robert, John, Frank, and Walter. In 1980 my husband and I moved to Kentucky, where I live now. Im in a wheelchair but still pretty brainy. I love children. I want to expand their knowledge of the nice parts of snakes.
