The Illusionist is the story of a young man named Tristan Zane and his allies in Las Vegas in the year 2070. A military organization called the New Regime has taken control of Las Vegas through the use of cybernetic soldiers and the implementation of Martial Law in an attempt to eliminate cyber-criminal activity that ravages the city.
The New Regime, however, has taken its reign too far and is now eliminating anything deemed suspicious by the laws set forth by the New Regime. Illusion has been deemed as a suspicious activity, and all illusionists, including Sarah and Robert Zane, Tristan’s parents, have been driven from the city, imprisoned, or killed, and Tristan, at a young age, has lost his family and friends.
He is found by a band of rebels and raised to become the Illusionist, and using his arsenal of strange tricks and devices, including an umbrella that leads into a strange realm of mist and darkness, he now seeks revenge for his lost family and shattered home.
Will he succeed?
