Regina Ford is the mother of two children. She lives in the Jamaica Queens area. She is a licensed hairstylist and a member of the Merrick Park Baptist Church in Jamaica Queens under the leadership of Curtis Norton Jr. and his wife, Lady Tina Pamela Norton. She was married for ten years and is now divorced.
Regina was born and raised in the Cooper Park Project of Brooklyn, New York, to Robert E. Ford and Sybil M. Ford. She is the second oldest of five siblings. She attended P.S. 110, J.H.S., 126, and Grover Cleveland H.S. and received a high school diploma. She worked for MetLife Insurance Co. from 1979 to 1992.
In 1993 Regina pursued her dream in the cosmetology field and continues to practice to this day. Regina is a breast cancer survivor and a volunteer for the American Cancer Society programs Reach Recovery and the Look Good Feel Better. She is the founder of C.S.I.C. (Cancer Survivors in Christ) Outreach Ministry and participates in educational workshops in her community. She believes that without God she would not been able to overcome breast cancer.
