Inspirational Sermons and Poems
by Birdie Lee Scruggs

This material is for the study of Evangelistical purposes. It teaches learning to speak Gods Word in a crowd or one on one. You want have to fear because God will be with you. Over twenty years ago, I had lots of ups and downs in my life. I went though some severe crises, but I overcame them by prayer and fasting and holding onto the Word of God. No matter what type of situation you are in, you can overcome by leaning and depending on Jesus. We all must learn how to enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise.

We must be thankful unto Him and bless His name because His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations. For the past seven years, I have had a pastor to teach me continually how to lean and depend on Jesus.

We know that God is always at work for the good of everyone who loves Him. They are the ones God has chosen for His purpose. What can we say about all this? If God is on our side, can anyone be against us? Blessed is everyone who feareth the Lord and walketh in His way. If we feed on Gods Word and keep it in our minds and in our hearts, we will grow strong and courageous, not fearing anything. The Bible said, Fear not them which kill the body, and are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell. I pray these sermons will enlighten the spirit of anyone who desires to speak Gods Word, giving Him all praises, glory, and worshiping of the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. As King David said in Psalms 103:1, Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me; Bless His Holy name.
