by R. Edward Dion

Longbow is the story of a restless young Norwegian bowman of the fourteenth century in search of his destiny. Leaving his remote village at the tender age of eighteen, he becomes a wanderer. He befriends a kindly and enigmatic man who is a maker of arms and presumably sells his wares to the highest bidder. Together they share a series of adventures spanning almost two decades that culminate in war, political intrigue and even love for a beautiful countess who is wed to another.

It is also a time of secrets and of a weapon that is destined to make England a world power.
