by Madeline M. Hurster

Many factors, both internal and external, lead us to make the health choices we make - choices that are the responsibility of the individual who makes them. But how does the individual obtain the level of understanding that helps him choose one health action over another, thus giving him a measure control over his own life?

In Making Health Choices, rather than focusing on doís and doníts, Madeline M. Hurster, uses open-ended scenarios wherein the reader is asked to assess his own health behavior. The emphasis on self-evaluation makes this text an invaluable guide to making health-enhancing choices.
