His work hangs in many private and public collections. He has exhibited at the Salmagundi Club, NYC, the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton, and numerous galleries. Also a prolific writer, Mehling has been recognized by Whos Who in America for his contribution to American art. He lives, paints, and teaches on Long Island.
