Valerie Crisler is a freelance writer, poet and watercolorist presenting her book Memoirs, Musings, and Follies at Nuthatch Cottage. Selections of her short stories have appeared in several local publications. Her childrens book By The Light of The Silvery Moon, The Rabbit Runneth is forthcoming.
Valerie is a nature lover, wordsmith, collector of quips, giver of thanks, an inquisitor becoming curiouser and curiouser. Her passions include gardening in her delightful cottage yard and capturing its essence with her watercolor brush.
Valerie is a retired RN residing at Nuthatch Cottage in South Haven, Michigan with her champion husband, John. Rocket, the black lab, and Jinx the cat complete the moiety. They have three grown children who enjoy visits to Nuthatch Cottage.
