More Tales from Suffolk County
by Barry Laine
This is a follow-up to Tales from Suffolk County. Although the characters are the same in both works, this book involves fifteen separate tales that occur later than in the initial book.
With two exceptions, all take place in England and involve fictional characters. Most tales center around Dave Elliott, a detective employed by the Best Detective Agency. The stories involve cases, including murder investigations, handled by the agency.
About the Author
The author was born and resides in northeast Ohio. He acquired a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and a law degree from Cleveland State University. He practiced law from 1973 to 2008.
He traveled in England but never went to Suffolk County. Accordingly, all the English characters in the book are wholly fictional and any similarity to a real person or an actual event is unintended.
Tale 13: “President Gore – A Political Satire” is just that—a political satire. It is a work of fiction but obviously the characters in the book are real.
