As a child, Joanne Puccinelli lived in Goosetown, the immigrant section of Anaconda, Montana. This was a neighborhood rich in ethnic diversity. Joanne has often told stories from this era to her children, grandchildren, and the many students she has taught. The Naughty Nello Stories are based on her fathers childhood experiences.
Joanne graduated from Gonzaga University and earned a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling at the University of Montana. She has been recognized for her excellence in teaching. Presently, Joanne is a University of Montana Supervisor for student teachers. She lives in Lolo, Montana.(2010, paperback, 36 pages)
