by Juanita Brewer-Kristoff
Juanita Brewer-Kristoff and her husband, Joseph Kristoff, were told the terrifying news that Joe had lung cancer in December of 1998. One Eye Open tells what a caregiver of someone who has cancer has to go through in order to do all he or she can to try and help that person. When someone we love becomes terminally ill, it will change our lives forever with the blink of an eye. Juanita dedicates this book to Joe, who lost his battle with the cancer, and to those who find themselves in the heartbreaking situation of caring for a loved one with a terminal illness.
