About the AuthorJoan Tobin was born in Queens County, New York in 1930. She married in 1950 and has three children.
Since her first published article appeared in Long Islands Newsday in 1973, Tobins writing has appeared in newspapers and small-press publications as steadily as time for writing allowed. Her work has appeared in The New York Times and the International Mensa Journal. As a member of Mensa since 1964, her writing has also appeared in many other Mensa periodicals.
Tobin has a B.A. from Charter Oak State College in Connecticut and an M.A. in Humanities from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
