ABOUT THE AUTHOR Born in Mobile, Alabama, Claudette Clark Knott attended Central High School where her love for poetry was fostered by reading and listening to Shakespeare, Chaucer, and Bede. During the Phase Out period of Brookley, AFB, she was relocated to Sacramento, California to McClellan AFB as a computer operator and retired in 1969. Embracing her love for poetry, she eventually developed her own style which uses sarcasm abundantly and begn sharing her poems with family and friends. Ms. Knott, a divorcee, and her five grown children still live in Sacramento where she is busy writing poetry and pursuing other artistic expressions.
