Slope: A Colorado Mystery
by Joseph McHale

Police Sergeant Tom Ketchum pulled the pin and left the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles to retire on Colorados Western Slope. He took an easy job as a lawyers private investigator. Life was good at $50 an hour plus expenses. The tranquility was wonderful at Glenwood Springs, Aspen, Vail, and Beaver Creek. One Sunday morning, it changed when the Sanderson night patrolman was gunned down in the city managers office. The police chief admitted to the shooting, and this began one of the most complex federal criminal investigations in Colorado history. Tom Ketchum was right in the middle of it.
