Sonnets for Soha
by Christina Leyden

This work of poetry is my very interesting life journey so far, in which I have had a lot of hard times but I mostly see the funny side of things, as I see humor in most aspects of my life. I try to portray what Im feeling in any given situation as it reflects the best of me and the person I am today. My poetry is about places I have been, such as Egypt, England, and Australia. It is also about situations I have to deal with and marked events as well as weddings and funerals.

About the Author

I have also loved books and have written poetry for as long as I can remember. I was born in 1962 in Te Awamutu, which is a town in the middle of North Island in New Zealand. I am one of six children, and we grew up in a very unorganized place, which was very interesting, as we mostly roamed freely. I married and moved to the South Island to Christchurch, where I stayed for a long, working and living and diverging. I am currently living in Brisbane in Australia with my partner, Magdy. I do not have any children, only a Maltese cross dog named Soha.
