Creation is the setting for this ancient Mayan epic. The Mayans spiritual heritage started with their struggles of crossing from the spiritual beginning into the earthly realm.
Stories are told from generation to generation how they came through a great sea before the appearance of Earth. Then the heavens parted in the beginning, The Dawn of Creation.About the Author
Traveling as a photojournalist to remote Guatemalan villages, Harper used her images for a masters thesis in photography and various publications. Her work showed the mild demeanor and loving nature of the Mayan descendants even during a war and under harsh living conditions. Those adventures sparked an interest that took five years to write this insightful novel, by researching true stories and ancient literature, transcribing an old handwritten manuscript, and formally studying the Bible.(2009, paperback, 130 pages)
