About the Author

Joyce Whitehead was born in Providence, Rhode Island and raised in Scituate, Rhode Island. She was educated at South Lancaster Academy and Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster, Massachusetts, and at the Sweeney School in Providence.

She was a self-employed real estate and insurance broker for twelve years and a district sales manager for the Bristol-Myers Corporation until retirement.

Whitehead has a son and a daughter and enjoys spending her free time golfing, playing tennis, walking, and dancing.

This is her second book. She is also the author of Mothers, Cookies and Milk.
