About the Author
Charles Palmenta Sr. was born and raised in the state of Connecticut, the youngest of six children. As a young man, he migrated to Florida with his parents to train in competitive boxing. After a brief and successful career, he returned to Connecticut to join his brothers in the family contracting business. Here he not only developed his skills in home improvement but he blossomed into a talented artist and poet. Many of his original works reflect his love of nature, his country and his strong religious commitment.
Mr. Palmentas was blessed with opportunities to travel and live in different parts of the United States. What he saw and what he experienced throughout his travels, as well as his vivid imagination, have influenced his art, poetry and this, his first novel with colorful and fascinating detail.
