As I look back on the last twenty-five years, I realize that the time has elapsed so very quickly. Numerous life-altering events have occurred in our family: weddings, births, birthdays, graduations, awards, engagements, travel adventures, relocations, job changes, accomplishments, some sadness, occasional disappointments and oh, so many blessings.
Every year, during our celebration under the tree, I have read my annual Christmas letter to you. As I tried to capture all of the years’ happenings and the reflections from this grandmother’s heart, it became my family history record. Memories were written and stored for all of these years.
So, this Christmas I have compiled these twenty-five letters, this book, which is my gift to each one of you. Please know that these were initially written at a specific time and place in all of our lives. And with the reviews, very little was changed from the original writings. This is our story as seen through my eyes.
The theme that certainly transcends all the many recounts of activities and memorable moments, is my love for you. You are the reason that I hold so much joy in my heart. I will continue to thank God for allowing me to be your mother, mother-in-law, and grandma.
