The Prevailer Prescription
by Evang.(DD) Balafama M. Boyle
Have you ever felt depressed, rejected, oppressed, sorrowful, and lonely? Every one of us needs someone to talk to when we feel these powerful emotions. We need someone who cares, no matter the situation in which we find ourselves.
Balafama Boyle believes we need the Lord as our friend, and to gain His friendship, we can use the Word of God as our starting point. In her book, Boyle explains the importance of the Holy Scriptures, and she implores the faithful to set aside regular time to read, study, meditate in, and memorize the Word of God, for she believes the end of the world is at hand. Boyle explains the process of living a new life in Jesus Christ, using the Holy Bible as a reference on living a Christ-like life and as a source of inspiration. She presents specific Scripture verses that apply to different lessons and situations in our lives, and she also provides a formula of prayer for those who want to ask God to take away their hardships and give blessings in return. Boyles book is a guide for living as a modern-day follower of Jesus Christ.
