by Gene L. Piper

When a man is mysteriously pushed back in time one hundred years through a great phenomenon, he realizes he could change or alter the course of history by warning President Lincoln of his up and coming assassination.

Befriending a man of this time, together they struggle not only to warn the president but to save their own lives. At the end of the four-day phenomenon, the two men share a bond that even time itself cannot dissolve in The Time Traveler: The Lincoln Experience.

Born and raised in Mason City, Iowa, Gene Piper drove trucks cross-country for more than twenty years, which gave him many hours to think and daydream. The idea for The Time Traveler came to him late one evening while traveling through Washington, D.C. in 1986.

An accomplished song writer and performer, Gene has one record album to his credit, recorded in Nashville, Tennessee. Through the 1970s and 80s, he wrote more than seventy songs, releasing two other recordings during that time. Realizing that he had a drive to write, Gene made a career move enabling him to seek his writing career. He has completed eight other written works.
