About the Author

Dr. Robin Earl Oden was raised in Cleveland with seven siblings and developed a strong passion for learning. He earned a B.S. in Mathematics Education and married his college sweetheart. They moved to Detroit, Michigan, where they raised three children who became responsible adults. While working and parenting, he completed both a Master's and a Doctorate. Dr. Oden started his career in Detroit, Michigan, as a mathematics teacher, later advancing to become Department Head, then assistant principal, principal, and eventually retiring as assistant superintendent.
