Product Overview
By Marty Pine
Many plus years, the time has passed
and now we’ve met-who would have thought, at last
a call not made, letter not sent
let’s not look back, what it could have meant
we talk, we write, and then think all day
we dream and we dream, as we go through the night
you came to my heart, like thunder through my mind,
and there you will stay, no feelings left behind
I felt this, I wrote this, a few more weeks, you are mine
About the Author
The author, Marty Pine, describes himself as “just a kid from Brooklyn “. Today, he is no longer a kid but a proud “Senior Citizen.” A product of the city school system, he attended PS 206, a K-8 public school. No middle schools existed. After graduation, he was a student at James Madison HS. College at SUNY Cortland, a career teaching on Long Island, and getting a Masters degree from Stony Brook University. Marty has been a runner since 3rd grade, a real competitor, loved the competition, and pushed others to do their best. The “Headlines, “make a splash, but the water makes the puddle. It spreads out and wets everything it touches. Such is life. Marty is retired and lives in sunny Florida.
