ABOUT THE AUTHOR Kerin Elaine McKenna was inspired to write this book because of her daughters and their many pairs of shoes. Kerin attended vocational high school, and she has a great love for the environment. She is the mother of five children, with two sets of fraternal twins. Her oldest twins are 16; her middle child is 14; and her youngest twins are 4. She has held various jobs over the past years ranging from Internet technology to health care. She was also a volunteer fire fighter and EMT for five years. Kerin is an artist, and she has always tried to pursue creative endeavors in every aspect of life.
