About the Author
Mae Francis Miller Guthrie is the third of eight children born to Cleveland and Maxine Miller in Duncan, Mississippi. At an early age, she and her family moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where she attended school.
She has loved drawing, creating, and designing since she was a child. Her father, a wonderful storyteller, was especially an inspiration to her.
She is currently employed as a parent educator in St. Louis. In addition to writing, she enjoys music and cooking.
