ABOUT THE AUTHOR A resident of Allentown, Pennsylvania, OKeefe graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cedar Crest College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology and Summa Cum Laude from Kutztown University with a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling and Psychology. OKeefe is employed as a supervisor in the Office of Aging and Adult Services by the County of Lehigh in Pennsylvania. OKeefe is an international poet with several awards and numerous poems published in the United States and the United Kingdom. OKeefes first book of poems, An Invitation to Be, was published in 2004. OKeefe has two children and four grandchildren and another on the way. A former competitive bodybuilder, OKeefe loves weight training and Tai Chi.
