Pitching Essentials: How to Become a Better Pitcher or Pitching Coach
by James Wardell
I have wanted to share my knowledge of pitching since I retired from pitching, and that is what prompted me to write this book. Looking at some of the pitching books on the market, they read more like textbooks, boring and hard to apply to real life. This book is short and simple, so a pitcher or pitching coach can read it in one day and go out the next day and start applying what they read.
It addresses the three most important essentials when it comes to pitching, in my opinion: location, release point, and repetitive motion. I could have gone into more detail about various aspects of pitching, but I will leave that for the other books. In this book, I wanted to keep it short and simple, so I hope it is more effective in terms of applying what you read. I hope that is the case for you and that this book improves your pitching ability or coaching ability. Thanks for taking the time to read it, and good luck.
About the AuthorI majored in social psychology and minored in physical education at Regis University and have worked at the National Jewish Hospital in the rehab department as a recreation therapist for the past twenty-one years. Before that I worked at the Cleo Wallace Center for four and a half years, which is a treatment center for emotionally and behaviourally disturbed children.
As you see from the picture, I love the outdoors and hiking.
