About the AuthorDr. Joseph A. Jones was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the West Virginia State University in 1950. He earned a Master's degree from the New York University in 1961 and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 1973.
Dr. Jones served in the US Army and retired as a USAR Warrant Officer. He later joined the Maryland State Guard and retired with the rank of Full Colonel. He taught at the Coppin State University from 1965-1985 and retired as Head of the Department of HPER in 1985.
