About the Author
Ron Jevaltas is a poet and former carpenter who views himself as a chronicler of the common working man. His literary style is deeply influenced by the works of Eliot, Frost, Dickinson, and Heaney. To remain the master of his own muse, Jevaltas consciously limited his reading of other poetry starting at age thirty, eventually amassing a personal collection of 1,600 poems. He identifies as an anachronism in the digital age, having never texted, tweeted, or used social media, and he still prefers to find his music on the radio. A native of Milwaukee and a long-time resident of Central Wisconsin, he has been married to his high school sweetheart for fifty-three years and hopes his work serves as a beacon for those seeking a road less traveled.
