Product Overview

by Edmund McKenna and Peggy McKenna Wenneman WORD-DOKU is a puzzle derivative of the internationally popular numbers game, sudoku. WORD-DOKU uses nine unique letters instead of the nine numbers used in sudoku. As the puzzle is solved, the letters combine to form a single word along a row, column, or vertical diagonal. ABOUT THE AUTHORS Siblings who enjoy the challenge of word games and puzzles, Ed and Peggy decided to collaborate on their first book, WORD-DOKU. Edmund McKenna, oldest of nine, is a retired IBM programmer, manager and technical writer. Ed fixes computers, installs networks, and helps clients improve computing and photographic skills. Ed sings tenor at Blessed Kateri Church (LaGrangeville, New York), enjoys playing/teaching Scrabble, bridge, traveling, flying small planes, skiing, Sudoku, crossword puzzles, and his Knights of Columbus brotherhood. Peggy McKenna Wenneman is a native of Washington, D.C. and an active member in her church. Peggy enjoys spending time with her husband on the golf course, playing softball, and coaching her daughters volleyball team. She developed an early love of crossword puzzles from her father, who was also her coach. (2006, paperback, 92 pages) Availability: Usually ships in 2-3 business days.
