You Can Be an Expert Driver Now!
by Sergio C. Camacho

Daily, thousands of new drivers, those driving under the influence, and those returning from suspended and revoked licenses will swamp our roads. Of course, many unlicensed operators are driving now in all countries. They will augment the already existing hazardous maneuvers on our overcrowded streets and roads.

Sergio C. Camacho realized most accidents are avoidable. He was inspired to create this defensive drivers book to protect all drivers from carelessness and errors of other drivers, traffic tickets, road rage, and, ultimately, collisions. He based these driving tips on his 55 years of driving experience and the mistakes of his driving students. He spent six years as a drivers instructor in Los Angeles, on the worlds most congested streets. These astute maneuvers are consistently overlooked by most drives, even professional operators.

The more these safety drivers tips are applied, the more defensive driving ideas will occur to the reader. This will further refine a drivers alertness and poise. Written in a succinct style with concise illustrations, this book will help any driver to focus, relax, and smoothly apply these driving tips. These astute tips will make anyone an expert driver!

About the Author:

★★★★★ Finally, a driving book that doesn't overwhelm you

I just started learning to drive, and honestly the whole thing was making me really nervous. My driver's ed handbook was thick and boring, and I'd lose focus after a page. This book is the total opposite. It's 52 short tips, and every single one has a simple picture, so it actually sticks in your head. The part that won me over was the parallel parking: it breaks it into five clear steps, and it's the first time it ever made sense to me, instead of being this really hard thing I was sure I'd never be able to learn. It really teaches you to stay calm, smooth, and think ahead, which is exactly what a new driver needs. I keep the ebook on my phone and read a few tips before every practice drive. If you're just starting out, or you're the parent of someone who is, I can't recommend it enough.

★★★★★ The defensive-driving habits every driver should start with

I've spent most of my life teaching people how to drive, and I'll tell you that most accidents come down to a handful of habits that never make it into the standard handbook. That's exactly what this little book gets right. It takes the defensive-driving instincts that usually take years behind the wheel to develop and lays them out as 52 clear, illustrated tips you can absorb in an afternoon. The one I point every student to is "always have an escape plan": never assume the other driver will do the right thing. The book isn't padded or preachy. It contains practical, real-world advice from someone who has obviously logged serious miles. I recommend it as a companion to formal lessons for beginners, and just as much as a tune-up for experienced drivers who've drifted into bad habits. Excellent work.

★★★★★

After a lifetime of teaching people to drive, I can say this book captures the defensive habits that actually prevent accidents, which are the things most handbooks skip. Fifty-two clear, illustrated tips (I especially love "always have an escape plan") that work for brand-new and experienced drivers alike. I recommend it to my students without hesitation.
