ABOUT THE AUTHOR Brenda McDonald was born and raised in Vincennes, Indiana. She left Indiana to fly with Pan American Airlines. Based in Miami, Florida, she was to spend the next twenty-five years there. Utilizing her love of dance, she was an NFL cheerleader for the Miami Dolphins for six years. This enabled her to put herself through nursing school at the University of Miami. Ms. McDonald explained, "After being a wife, a mother, and a nurse, I thought I knew all about love.
