My Journey with God and Cancer

About a month after I came home from my cancer surgery, I began to feel that the Lord was leading me to put my experience on paper and to share my testimony for those who might be faced with what I was and still am.
I thought, Me! I can talk for hours one on one. I never thought I would be in a position to be challenged with writing a book. But for what God has done for me, I was more than ready to listen to him. I thought of the Scripture that says, If God brings you to it, he will bring you through it.
I began working on this book in June 2009. I assure you that what is in this book is from my heart with total humility and thankfulness for the blessings I have seen happen in my life. Nothing fancy, just the truth.
I have tried to share what it was like for me when I heard those words, You have cancer. I share how I have been able to deal with it on a daily basis.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my family and church friends, who sent prayers up on my behalf. I can feel their prayers. I can truly feel his loving arms around my shoulder as a way to let me know that he was and is taking care of me.
If you ever have a strong feeling that God wants you to do something, you might as well go on and get it done. You will feel so good. You will know for sure it was something he wanted you to do. May God bless each of you.
