She attended the Anita Priest School of Interior Design, obtaining her degree in 1982. Her career as a design consultant was successful for many years. Her gift of writing has exploded over the past ten years, and she has devoted the last five years to the completion of this book. In 2002, she was presented with the International Poet of Merit Award by the International Society of Poets. Happily married, Claudette resides in Palm Bay, Florida.
