Product Overview
by Peggy L. Gannon Tracing the Steps is a tale of intrigue, adventure, and mystery based on the diaries of the authors great-great grandfather and great-great grandmother, Jeremiah and Maria Bradford. These newlyweds left Boston Harbor in 1847 for missionary work in the Sandwich Islands, now known as Hawaii. The author has woven the true adventures of the Bradfords and their shipmates with a contemporary, but fictional, Jim Swanson, a Washington, D.C., bank examiner who traces his descendants steps from a Boston-based cruise liner that sails through the Panama Canal to Hawaii. But, he is involved with a murder aboard ship that culminates with the ships docking in Honolulu. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Peggy L.
