The Rose
This rose is made of paper; itÂ’s a fact thatÂ’s sad but true.
ItÂ’s not like the rose that God makes, but itÂ’s the best that I can do.
This rose has never been touched, by the morning dew.
But the tears that IÂ’ve held inside, kept it watered just for you.
This rose is a reminder, of a love thatÂ’s surely true.
Because it grew from within my heart, to show that IÂ’ll always love you.
